Job Summary
Accounting Manager role reporting to a private organization via STRIVE Recruitment; responsible for owning the month-end close across multiple entities, leading full-cycle accounting operations, supervising a small accounting team, and partnering with operational leaders to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong controls, and continuous process improvements. Key duties include journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, three-way matching, cost-tracked project accounting, billing cycle support, and preparation of internal/external financial statements in accordance with ASPE, plus year-end activities and regulatory filings. Required Qualifications
- Experience working within project-based, construction, development, manufacturing, or other cost-tracked environments
- Strong understanding of multi-entity accounting and related-party transactions
- Proven experience leading month-end and year-end close processes
- Hands-on accounting leader who is comfortable operating in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Detail-oriented, accountable, adaptable, and solutions-focused
