Job Summary
Lead accounting operations in a fast-growing biotech environment, overseeing month-end/year-end close, ensuring U.S. GAAP compliance, and supporting SOX/internal control processes. Drive timely financial reporting, assist with audits, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with FP&A, legal, and operations on process improvements and ERP enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s preferred)
- CPA required
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in biotech, life sciences, or public accounting serving biotech clients
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP; experience working within a SOX-compliant environment is required
- Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a plus)
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
