Accounting Manager Specialist

GL Controller for the LEGO Group’s APAC region role focuses on end-to-end accounting processes, including standardizing accounting practices, reviewing and consolidating financial documents, enabling board reporting, and supporting global consolidation. The role drives year-end closing, audit activities, and cross-functional collaboration with global CFO teams, regional business partners, and external parties. Responsibilities include approving journals, reviewing trial balances for multiple APAC entities, performing variance analyses, maintaining accounting procedures documentation, ensuring statutory reporting compliance, coordinating with auditors, and supporting regional projects (e.g., regionalization and automation initiatives). The position is part of the Accounting Services (GL) within LEGO’s Business Service Operations, with a hybrid work policy (average of 3 days per week in the office) at one of the LEGO offices in Singapore. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting, substantial audit/financial controlling experience, IFRS knowledge, global/cross-functional collaboration experience, and proficiency with SAP and Excel.
