Job Summary
Accounting Manager to lead a US-based and offshore (India & Mexico) team responsible for general accounting duties including balance sheet reconciliations, escheatment, intercompany, bank reconciliations, and payables/benefits accounts. Drive process improvements and automation, ensure SOX/compliance, partner with payroll for accurate payroll accounting, and prepare financial statement footnotes for international and local statutory reports. Role requires SAP expertise, IFRS/GAAP knowledge, and ability to manage a high-performance team through a tight monthly close with accurate reporting and analytical movements. Strong skills in ledger analysis, journal entries, intercompany movements, and cross-functional collaboration with R2R, HR, Payroll, and regions; experience with ERP systems and Power BI a plus.
