Job Summary
Accounting Manager oversees accounts payable, accruals, general ledger, property accounting, and foundation/donation revenues; leads month-end close and financial reporting for multiple entities; manages a small accounting team (Senior Accountant and Accountant I); ensures compliance with GAAP, maintains internal controls, and supports annual audits and tax reporting. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field is required.
- 5+ progressive experience in Accounting with a demonstrated track record of taking on increasing responsibility.
- At least 2 years management or supervisory experience.
- Proficient using large ERP systems; Sage Intacct highly desirable; strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
