Job Summary
Accounting Manager to build and lead the Budapest accounting function as part of a cross-border group finance team. You will own day-to-day accounting (month-end closing, reconciliations, AP/AR/GL, intercompany tasks), drive process improvements and standardize workflows, and help insource accounting for smaller entities. You will collaborate with external providers during transition to in-house operations, strengthen internal controls, and support ERP enhancements (NetSuite is a plus). The role reports to the Head of Accounting in Copenhagen and involves close cooperation with the Copenhagen finance team and other groups across the organization. Strong ownership, proactive mindset, and experience with multi-entity accounting are required, along with solid English communication and the ability to work in a cross-functional, international environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in multi-entity accounting
- Proficiency in ERP systems; NetSuite experience is a plus
- Solid hands-on experience of the end-to-end accounting process
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Independent, proactive, structured, and solution-oriented
- Comfort working in a cross-functional and multicultural environment
