Job Summary
Accounting Manager responsible for leading the monthly close, variance analysis, and reporting on cost and profitability by product line and customer. Drive improvement in business processes, manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, payroll processing, depreciation and fixed asset maintenance, and ensure tax filings. Supervises one employee and collaborates with customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams while maintaining accuracy, timely reporting, and strong internal controls. Requires 6+ years of accounting experience, proficiency with Excel (V-lookups, pivot tables) and QuickBooks Online, and demonstrated ability to communicate across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting/finance roles
- Experience with Excel formulas, V-lookups, pivot tables
- Experience with QuickBooks Online or other accounting software
- Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to supervise staff and coordinate across departments
- Attention to detail and process-oriented mindset
