Job Summary
Oversee daily accounting activities, month-end close, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Analyze financial results, reconcile general ledger accounts, and administer company credit card programs. Evaluate and strengthen internal controls, coordinate external audits, and support regulatory reporting. Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team while assisting with annual budgeting and forecasting. Partner with the Vice President of Finance on strategic financial initiatives. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, five years of progressive accounting experience, and proficiency with ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics. Full-time Monday through Friday schedule with a salary of $115,000 to $125,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting
- At least 5yrs of Progressive Accounting Experience
- Leadership Experience
- Experience with ERP Systems
- Experience with Databases
- Experience with Financial Reporting Tools (Microsoft Dynamics)
- Experience with GAAP Based Accounting Principles
- Experience with Economic/Accounting Principles and Practices
- Experience with Financial Markets
- Experience with Banking
- Experience with the Analysis/Reporting of Financial Data
- Strong understanding of all functions of the typical accounting department, including accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
- Ability to communicate effectively with upper management
- Ability to explain and advise management on best financial practices
- Ability to assist in making financial decisions for the company
- Must be willing to undergo a criminal background check
- Must be willing to participate in E-Verify
