Job Summary
Manage the accounting close end-to-end, including accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, bank reconciliations, payroll, and budget-vs-actuals variance analysis. Lead the implementation of new systems for ERP, AP/expense platforms, and close management tools while documenting current processes to support scalable structure. Mentor junior team members and oversee the broader close process as you build a finance function following a recent leadership rebuild. Report to the Controller and CFO with a path to expand team scope into payroll or AP.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- full ownership of month-end close end to end
- Experience implementing or building out process around financial systems
- NetSuite
- Strong GAAP knowledge
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, process-building environment
- based in EST or CST
