Job Summary
Lead month-end, quarterly, and annual close processes while overseeing general ledger, reconciliations, and fixed assets. Own financial accuracy, audits, and GAAP compliance, including Form 990 and NAIS reporting. Serve as subject matter expert for PeopleSoft financials and partner with HR on system integration. Oversee cash management and banking activities while providing leadership across accounting and shared services. Manage annual audit support and tax form preparation to ensure strong decision support. Requires CPA, 8+ years of experience, and PeopleSoft expertise. On-site role in Hershey, PA with salary between $83,000 and $111,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors in accounting/finance
- CPA
- 8+ years of accounting experience with leadership scope
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, audits, and GAAP
- ERP experience
- Ability to drive process improvements in a complex environment
- Extraordinary accuracy with an ability to successfully navigate a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including skills in advising and collaborating
- Must demonstrate a high degree of integrity
- Must be eager to actively engage with MHS students
