Job Summary
Lead month-end, quarterly, and annual close processes while owning financial accuracy, audits, and GAAP compliance. Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, fixed assets, cash management, and banking activities. Manage Form 990 and NAIS reporting, serve as SME for PeopleSoft, and partner with HR/Finance on system integration. Provide leadership across accounting and shared services to drive process improvements in a complex environment. This on-site role in Hershey, PA, supports a mission-driven organization serving over 2,200 students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors in accounting/finance
- CPA
- 8+ years of accounting experience with leadership scope
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, audits, and GAAP
- ERP experience
- Relocation to Hershey, PA
- Must demonstrate a high degree of integrity
- Must be eager to actively engage with MHS students
