Job Summary
Lead month-end, quarterly, and annual close processes while overseeing general ledger, reconciliations, and fixed assets. Own financial accuracy, audits, and GAAP compliance, including managing Form 990 and NAIS reporting deliverables. Serve as subject matter expert for PeopleSoft financials and partner with HR on system integration. Provide leadership across accounting and shared services while managing cash management and banking activities. This on-site role in Hershey, PA, requires a CPA with 8+ years of experience to modernize financial operations within a mission-driven organization serving 2,200 students.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors in accounting/finance
- CPA
- 8+ years of accounting experience with leadership scope
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, audits, and GAAP
- ERP experience
- Ability to drive process improvements in a complex environment
- Extraordinary accuracy with an ability to successfully navigate a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including skills in advising and collaborating
- Must demonstrate a high degree of integrity
- Must be eager to actively engage with MHS students
- Relocation to Hershey, PA
