Job Summary
Lead month-end, quarterly, and annual close processes while overseeing general ledger, reconciliations, and fixed assets. Own financial accuracy, audits, and GAAP compliance, including managing Form 990 and NAIS reporting deliverables. Serve as the subject matter expert for PeopleSoft financials and collaborate across HR and Finance on system integration. Provide leadership for the accounting and shared services teams while managing cash management and banking activities. This on-site role in Hershey, PA, supports a mission-driven organization expanding to serve more students, offering a salary between $83,000 and $111,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors in accounting/finance
- CPA
- 8+ years of accounting experience with leadership scope
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, audits, and GAAP
- ERP experience
- Ability to drive process improvements in a complex environment
- Extraordinary accuracy with an ability to successfully navigate a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including skills in advising and collaborating
- Must demonstrate a high degree of integrity
- Must be eager to actively engage with MHS students
- Relocation to Hershey, PA
