Job Summary
Lead month-end, quarterly, and annual close processes while overseeing general ledger, reconciliations, fixed assets, and cash management activities. Own financial accuracy, audits, and GAAP compliance, including Form 990 and NAIS reporting, and serve as the SME for PeopleSoft financials. Partner with HR and Finance on system integration, manage enterprise financial systems, and provide leadership across accounting and shared services. This on-site role requires a CPA with 8+ years of experience to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and strong decision support for Milton Hershey School's mission-driven organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors in accounting/finance
- CPA
- 8+ years of accounting experience with leadership scope
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, audits, and GAAP
- ERP experience
- Ability to drive process improvements in a complex environment
- Extraordinary accuracy with an ability to successfully navigate a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including skills in advising and collaborating
- Must demonstrate a high degree of integrity
- Must be eager to actively engage with MHS students
- Relocation to Hershey, PA
