Job Summary
Lead month-end, quarterly, and annual close processes while overseeing general ledger, reconciliations, fixed assets, and Form 990 reporting. Own financial accuracy, audits, and GAAP compliance by serving as the SME for PeopleSoft and partnering with HR on system integration. Manage cash activities, audit deliverables, and provide leadership across accounting and shared services to ensure compliance and decision support. This on-site role requires a CPA with 8+ years of experience to drive process improvements within a mission-driven organization serving 2,200 students.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors in accounting/finance
- CPA
- 8+ years of accounting experience with leadership scope
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, audits, and GAAP
- ERP experience
- Ability to drive process improvements in a complex environment
- Extraordinary accuracy with an ability to successfully navigate a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including skills in advising and collaborating
- Must demonstrate a high degree of integrity
- Must be eager to actively engage with MHS students
- Relocation to Hershey, PA
