Job Summary
Lead month-end, quarterly, and annual close processes while owning financial accuracy, audits, and GAAP compliance. Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, fixed assets, cash management, and banking activities. Manage Form 990, NAIS reporting, and audit deliverables, serving as the subject matter expert for PeopleSoft financials and GL. Partner across HR and Finance on system integration and reporting to drive process improvements in a complex environment. Provide leadership across accounting and shared services, ensuring strong decision support for the organization. This on-site role supports a mission-driven school expanding to serve more students, offering a salary between $83,000 and $111,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors in accounting/finance
- CPA
- 8+ years of accounting experience with leadership scope
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, audits, and GAAP
- ERP experience
- Ability to drive process improvements in a complex environment
- Extraordinary accuracy with an ability to successfully navigate a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including skills in advising and collaborating
- Must demonstrate a high degree of integrity
- Must be eager to actively engage with MHS students
- Relocation to Hershey, PA
