Job Summary
Oversee daily accounting operations, month-end closing, and full financial reporting cycles aligned with IFRS for residential construction projects in Makkah. Prepare trial balances, manage project costs and revenue recognition, and ensure compliance with VAT, WHT, and Zakat regulations. Supervise the accounting team, coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities, and develop dashboards to support strategic decision-making. Requires 8-10 years of experience in construction accounting, strong IFRS knowledge, and fluency in Arabic and English.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Accounting and Finance
- Solid experience in the construction and real estate industry
- Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Strong experience in project accounting, cost control, revenue recognition, and financial reporting
- Experience in VAT, WHT, Zakat, and Saudi tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills
- Financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis capabilities
- Fluency in Arabic and English, spoken and written
- Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and support strategic financial decision-making
