Job Summary
Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations, support month-end close, and ensure GAAP compliance while monitoring Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Analyze monthly and quarterly financial results, review consolidated statements, and coordinate internal and external audit activities. Drive automation initiatives, maintain accounting policy documentation, and lead cross-functional projects to improve efficiency. Partner with division leadership to resolve accounting questions and present findings to senior leadership for business decision-making. Work onsite two days per week in Daytona Beach, FL, within a high-growth public company targeting $50 billion in annual revenue.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
- At least 3 years of experience with a publicly traded company, public accounting firm, or large/mid-sized private equity-backed organization
- 2+ years of management or leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Onsite a minimum of 2 days per week
- This is not a remote position

Desired Qualifications
- CPA designation
- Oracle ERP experience
- Experience with automation and analytics tools such as: VBA/Macros
