Accounting Manager

Job Summary
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes by reviewing journal entries, preparing account reconciliations, and ensuring accurate internal financial reporting packages. Supervise and mentor 1–2 direct reports while establishing priorities, workflows, and performance expectations for the accounting team. Oversee general ledger integrity, balance sheet reconciliations, and compliance with U.S. GAAP and corporate policies. Identify process improvements, support acquired business integrations, and optimize the Sage Intacct ERP environment as a key user. Coordinate external audit activities, manage lender reporting, and enhance internal controls. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, 7+ years of progressive experience, and advanced Excel skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles
- Experience managing or mentoring accounting staff
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience working within ERP systems
