Job Summary
Accounting Manager oversees month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls within a central finance function. Responsible for ensuring accuracy and timeliness of monthly results, leading journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, and providing guidance for compliance with US GAAP and UK GAAP. Role requires strong accounting knowledge, leadership and stakeholder management, and experience with SAP. Desirable background includes ERP transformation, internal/external audits, and cross-functional collaboration with FP&A, Treasury, Tax. Hybrid work arrangement in the UK (Harlow or Glenrothes) with a 37-hour week and flexible working culture. Must be fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) and eligible for SC clearance. Required Qualifications
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- SC clearance eligibility
- University degree or equivalent experience
