Job Summary
Accounting Manager responsible for overseeing financial reporting, month-end close, payroll, and core accounting operations across multi-entity, multi-location client accounts. This role emphasizes accrual-based accounting and GAAP, with oversight of accounts payable/receivable, general ledger across entities, payroll setup (Gusto or similar), U.S. sales tax filings, and creation of custom reports for budgeting and forecasting. It requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, process documentation, and proactive collaboration with leadership to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and compliance across clients.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance
- Strong experience with accrual accounting / GAAP financials
- Experience managing multi-entity, multi-location, or multi-segment businesses
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (and/or Desktop/Enterprise)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Tables, Data Tables)
- Experience processing payroll using systems such as Gusto (or similar)
- Experience with U.S. sales tax filings
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
