Accounting Manager

Job Summary
Oversee regional financial performance, job cost accounting, and operational expenses for a Zeus Fire and Security subsidiary, managing teams responsible for billing, accounts receivable, and payable. Direct project reporting, revenue recognition, and month-end close activities while collaborating with Operations to communicate key financial metrics. Partner with Hub Presidents and Corporate Finance to support budgeting, forecasting, and M&A integration, preparing management discussion and analysis based on variance trends. Drive continuous improvement in financial controls and systems, assisting with annual audits and tax filings. Requires GAAP knowledge and Oracle NetSuite experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in accounting or finance-related positions
- at least 3 years of management experience
- Knowledge of, and the ability to adhere to, GAAP
- specific focus on revenue recognition accounting standards
- percentage-of-completion for construction contracts

Desired Qualifications
- CPA preferred
- Oracle NetSuite experience preferred
- ERP implementation experience is a plus
- Experienced with communicating and presenting the financial results to all levels of the company, including senior executives
- Ability to manage and influence teams and key stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization
- Demonstrated ability to lead a fast-paced team with a strategic mindset towards modernizing processes while maintaining strong financial controls
- Track-record of improving systems and being part of a team that modernizes processes to drive a more efficient and scalable business model
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to navigate through ambiguity, manage conflict and difficult conversations in a fast-paced environment
