Job Summary
The Accounting Manager directs day-to-day accounting operations for a hotel, owning the balance sheet, income audit, and AP/AR functions, and leads a team to ensure accurate, timely financial records. Responsibilities include maintaining reconciled general ledgers and balance sheets, driving month-end and year-end closes, supervising income audit and revenue postings, managing vendor and customer invoicing, and administering cost and revenue allocations across departments. Qualifications emphasize a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA a plus), 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least two in a supervisory role, strong GAAP and USALI knowledge, proficiency with hospitality PMS/POS systems and advanced Excel, and demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
