Job Summary
Accounting Manager - Mixed Finance position at Oakland Housing Authority. Responsible for managing the Mixed Finance division's financial operations, budgeting, and reporting, including development and interpretation of policies, compliance with HUD requirements, oversight of audits, and supervision of staff. Roles include analysis and improvements to ERP systems, preparation of ad-hoc and mandated financial reports (HUD ACFR), coordination with Real Estate Development and Asset Management, and staff training/development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, public administration, business administration, or a related field
- Seven (7) years of progressively responsible accounting, auditing, and financial work, including implementing accounting systems
- Three years in a supervisory or management role
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid California driver’s license and an insurable driving record
