Job Summary
Accounting Manager will support the Business Unit Controller for Arizona and Nevada units, coordinating daily accounting with Meriton Shared Services. Responsibilities include AP/AR processing, cash receipts and forecasting, treasury and budgeting activities, disbursements, general ledger entries and reconciliations, month-end close ownership, KPI monitoring, and regular financial reporting. The role requires strong Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency, ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, and collaboration with BU leadership. Additional duties include maintaining documentation, assisting with annual audits and budgets, recruiting/training staff, supporting sales on project and customer matters, AR collection support, and adherence to accounting policies and internal controls. CPA is desired but not required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- 7+ years accounting experience
- Experience with integrated ERP, Microsoft D365 a plus
- Fluent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail, confidentiality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
