Job Summary
Legends Global Merchandise seeks an Accounting Manager/Controller to support financial reporting and HR/payroll integration. The role oversees accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, cash management, month-end and year-end close, budgeting/forecasting, and audit coordination, ensuring timely financial statements and adherence to GAAP. The position also supports HR functions including payroll and collaboration with Corporate HR, requiring strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills and proficiency with accounting software and Excel. On-site at LGM Buffalo, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of similar experience
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Proficient in Peachtree/Sage Accounting; Excel advanced functions
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Experience with month-end/year-end closing processes
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles and GAAP
