Job Summary
Oversee daily accounting operations, including reviewing account balances, reconciling accounts, preparing adjusting entries for monthly reporting, and managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams. Direct hiring, training, and performance appraisals while ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and internal controls. Coordinate audits, monitor Medicaid billing, and analyze financial data to identify risks and opportunities. Prepare reports for grant requirements and special projects as needed. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with five years of experience; Master's degree preferred. Full-time role in Jackson, MS with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
