Job Summary

Accounting Manager to oversee AP/AR, month-end close, and financial reporting in an insurance-carrier environment. Lead and develop a team of accounting staff, ensure NAIC/SSAP statutory reporting compliance, coordinate tax filings, and drive process improvements. Position requires 7+ years of accounting experience in insurance, SAP ERP proficiency, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Hybrid schedule in Anaheim, CA (3 days in office, 2 days remote) with base salary up to $160k.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 7+ years of accounting experience within an insurance carrier environment
  • Hands-on experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable operations
  • Experience with month-end close and general ledger reconciliations
  • Knowledge of insurance accounting standards (NAIC, SSAP, or statutory reporting)
  • Experience using ERP/accounting systems such as SAP
