Job Summary
Oversee financial integrity and HR operations for two growing businesses in the Houston metro area, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, budgeting, month-end close, and financial reporting; manage employee onboarding, benefits enrollment, compliance documentation, and HR processes; coordinate with external accounting firms; ensure US GAAP compliance and labor-law adherence; provide strategic guidance to senior management on financial and human capital matters; drive workforce planning and organizational effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of combined experience in accounting/finance and human resources management
- Experience managing multiple entities a plus
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial regulations, and labor laws applicable in the United States
- Proficiency with accounting software and HR information systems (HRIS)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
