Job Summary
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules while managing the month-end close process. Analyze financial statements for discrepancies, review sales commissions and expense reimbursements, and prepare monthly reporting packages with period-over-period analysis. Assist with annual audit documentation, tax filings, and budgeting processes, ensuring compliance with US GAAP requirements. Own special projects, accounting research, and the implementation of financial controls, including automating processes with AI adoption. Mentor accounting staff and guide senior accountants on work quality. Participate in monthly forecasting, planning, and analysis as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with Accounting or Finance Concentration
- 5+ years of progressive GL experience in a high-growth SaaS environment and/or public accounting
- Experience in the review and implementation of financial controls and procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Possessing a high sense of urgency, ability to interact with multiple levels within the organization and be an effective team player
- Must be available for in-office work three days a week

Desired Qualifications
