Job Summary
Manage and develop the Program Collections team supporting OPR and Cost Share activities, ensuring all invoices are accurate, supportable, validated, and compliant before initiating collection efforts. Oversee participant, employee, and employer communications regarding amounts owed while driving performance through trend analysis and corrective actions. Ensure timely collection, application, tracking, and reconciliation of payments, including accurate pass-through of cost share payments to the state and proper entry of garnishments and child support withholdings. Lead process improvements to reduce repeat errors and minimize disputes, maintaining clear boundaries from claims billing or authorization decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing or supervising a collections, billing, or financial operations team
- Strong understanding of financial controls, documentation requirements, and reconciliation processes
- Proven ability to identify process gaps and implement improvements
- Exceptional communication skills—able to deliver clear, professional, and empathetic messages
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross‐functional partners and navigate complex program rules
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
