Accounting Manager

Lead the month-end close process, managing journal entries, financial reports, cash flow analyses, and monthly statements in accordance with GAAP and internal policies. Maintain a thorough understanding of financial reporting and general ledger structure to ensure completeness and accuracy. Support audit processes and Form 990 reporting by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries. Serve as the ERP and accounting systems lead, responsible for system maintenance, optimization, and end-user support. Monitor evolving accounting guidance, conduct research on complex transactions, and recommend actions to ensure compliance. Assist with budget and forecast development, support enterprise risk management activities, and develop financial policies to strengthen internal controls. Prepare external reports for Goodwill Industries International, financial institutions, and regulatory agencies. Collaborate with internal teams to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement process improvements. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years of GAAP accounting experience, CPA preferred, and a valid driver's license. Full-time role in a standard office environment with extensive team contact.
