Job Summary
Manage and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process while ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Prepare, review, and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules to maintain the integrity of the general ledger and chart of accounts. Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and ensure compliance with GAAP. Supervise and mentor the Corporate Accounting team by establishing performance expectations, providing coaching, and assisting with recruiting and onboarding. Maintain and strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls while coordinating annual financial statement audits and serving as a primary liaison with external auditors. Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows through automation and process redesign, utilizing AI-powered tools and NetSuite enhancements to improve efficiency and scalability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities
- Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment (post-offer) drug screen and background check
- Strong knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Advanced organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation strongly preferred
- Public accounting experience preferred
- Experience managing month-end close and financial reporting in a multi-entity organization preferred
- Experience supporting external audits and maintaining strong internal controls
- NetSuite ERP experience strongly preferred
- Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, planning, business intelligence, and reporting tools is highly desirable
- Demonstrated experience implementing accounting process improvements, automation, or AI-driven solutions preferred
