Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager in Irvine, CA responsible for owning core accounting operations, leading ASC 606 revenue recognition across software, hardware, and services, and driving the month-end close. The role focuses on improving close quality and scalability, building scalable processes and controls, and operationalizing finance infrastructure in a fast-moving startup. You will partner with GTM, hardware, operations, and finance teams to support both software and hardware revenue streams, mentor junior accounting staff, and support audits and external reporting. You will collaborate across Finance, Operations, GTM, Legal, IT, and Hardware, while building scalable documentation, SOPs, and finance infrastructure. The role requires 6–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, CPA license, deep ASC 606/technical accounting expertise, contract review experience, and strong execution in a global multi-entity context. Background in robotics, AI, autonomy, industrial, or deep-tech environments is a plus.
