Job Summary
Oversee daily accounting department operations, managing month-end and year-end processes, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, utilities, treasury, budgeting, and cash forecasting. Monitor accounting data to produce financial reports, analyze revenue and expenditure variances, and conduct capital asset, trust account, and fixed asset reconciliations. Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, coordinate annual audits, and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy while improving systems and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to direct and supervise
- BS degree in Accounting or Finance
