Accounting Manager

Job Summary
Lead end-to-end monthly close for a SaaS environment, owning the general ledger, revenue recognition, AR, and AP; ensure accurate GAAP financial reporting and support integrations of acquired companies. Standardize accounting workflows across entities, drive ERP system improvements (NetSuite), and automate close processes. Partner with finance leadership on analysis and strategic initiatives, mentor the accounting team, and coordinate with external partners to strengthen internal controls and support audits. This role emphasizes scaling operations, cross-functional collaboration, and building scalable accounting infrastructure within a fast-moving startup.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounting experience with 2 years of team leadership
- Experience in a SaaS company (subscription revenue preferred)
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Experience managing the full monthly close cycle
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite or similar ERP
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills
- A systems thinker who enjoys improving processes and building scalable operations
