Job Summary
Lead the financial team by providing daily coaching, fostering accountability, and ensuring accuracy in financial records. Oversee financial operations, manage month-end and year-end close processes, and review journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activity. Work on-site Monday through Friday with consistent hours, reporting to a supportive leadership structure. This role drives high standards within a 60-employee HVAC company serving Houston homeowners and businesses since 1971.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience leading or supervising an accounting team
Desired Qualifications
- CPA designation (preferred)
