Job Summary
Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and financial reporting for the PACE Southeast Michigan program. Leads accounting staff, manages payables/receivables, supports audits, ensures CMS/MDCH compliance, analyzes monthly/annual reports, prepares journal entries, and provides financial insights to support organizational decision-making. Responsible for Medicaid/Medicare payment reconciliations, PMPM statistics/KPIs review, and collaboration with department leaders to improve financial performance. Manages Workday financial system, drives process improvements for revenue and expenses, and facilitates external audits. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent) and at least 5 years of financial experience; healthcare experience and Workday proficiency preferred. Office-based in Southfield, MI with potential local travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent is required
- At least 5 years previous financial experience is required
- Previous health care experience preferred
- Workday experience preferred
