Job Summary
Accounting Manager owns the full accounting function across multiple active construction projects; partners with project managers and leadership to drive financial strategy, oversee month-end close, budgeting, job costing, billing, payroll (including prevailing wage and certified payroll), vendor payments, and audits; ensures internal controls, GAAP compliance, and accurate financial reporting while supporting HR records and benefits compliance and enabling scalable operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry
- Experience with construction accounting including job costing, POC, WIP reporting, prevailing wage and certified payroll
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience managing core accounting functions such as payables, payroll, and reporting
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and leadership skills
