Job Summary
The Accounting Manager is responsible for all areas of financial reporting, developing and maintaining accounting principles and practices, and supervising staff accountants and Accounts Payable clerks. Key responsibilities include ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements, collaborating with other finance department managers, supervising the general ledger and AP groups, and providing training for staff. The ideal candidate must have a CPA license, a BS in Accounting, and 5 to 7 years of supervisory experience in the financial reporting/general ledger area.
