Job Summary
Lead month-end closing by analyzing accounting records, preparing journal entries, and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations. Monitor Capex spend and forecasting while enhancing close procedures through collaboration with site departments. Perform monthly Forecast vs Actual analysis for all P&L and BS accounts, generating variance reports on financial results and key operational metrics. Manage inventory and cost of sales calculations, including direct material standards, labor, overhead, and purchase price variances. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize expenses, identify cost reduction opportunities, and contribute to cost-saving strategies. Initiate process improvement initiatives to strengthen financial controls and reporting accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with cost accounting, month-end close, general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and working capital support
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, regulatory compliance requirements, and internal control practices
- Experience supporting internal and external audits and maintaining accurate financial records
- Strong financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting skills, including advanced Excel capabilities
- Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and support actions that improve business and financial performance
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across Finance, Operations, and other cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required

- Oracle experience preferred
- CPA preferred
- MBA or Master's in Accounting preferred
