Accounting Manager, Cash Operations

Job Summary
Oversee general accounting activities and ensure financial statement accuracy by maintaining accounting policies, procedures, and system integrity. Manage daily cash reconciliations, review and approve journal entries, and support SOX control implementation to mitigate financial risk. Partner with Treasury, Operations, and Compliance teams to drive process improvements, strengthen controls, and lead staff development. Requires 5+ years in general accounting with 2+ years leading teams; CPA preferred. Based in Atlanta or Dallas with 8AM-6PM Monday through Friday schedule, including weekend availability and 10% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in general accounting, including public accounting, corporate accounting (with exposure to payment processing), or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading teams to achieve common goals, including supervising direct reports
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field
- An equivalent combination of education and experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Access (or comparable database querying tools)
- Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX
- Candidates must possess authorization to work in the United States

Desired Qualifications
- CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA certification preferred
- Prior experience within the auto finance industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of loan accounting, payment processing, and cash operations
