Accounting Manager, Cash Operations

Job Summary
Oversee general accounting activities and ensure financial statement accuracy by maintaining policies, procedures, and system integrity. Manage daily cash reconciliations, review and approve journal entries, and support SOX control implementation to mitigate financial risk. Partner with Treasury, Operations, and Compliance teams to drive process improvements, strengthen controls, and ensure accurate financial reporting. Lead team development through recruitment, training, and performance management. Requires 5+ years in general accounting with 2+ years leading teams, a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, and proficiency in Excel, Word, and Access. Overtime is required on an as-needed basis, with travel up to 10%. Must reside in Atlanta, GA, or Dallas, TX. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in general accounting, including public accounting, corporate accounting (with exposure to payment processing), or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading teams to achieve common goals, including supervising direct reports
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Access (or comparable database querying tools)
- Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX
- Candidates must possess authorization to work in the United States

Desired Qualifications
- CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA certification preferred
- Prior experience within the auto finance industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of loan accounting, payment processing, and cash operations
