Job Summary
Accounting Manager at a real estate investment and property management firm. Responsibilities include overseeing general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting; managing budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis; ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures; leading and mentoring a small accounting team; and supporting audits with external partners. Key qualifications: 5+ years of accounting experience (preferably in real estate/property management), strong GAAP and financial reporting knowledge, experience managing a team, and familiarity with ERP systems (Yardi, RealPage, or similar). Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
