Job Summary
Oversee month-end and year-end close processes for a multi-location home health organization, including general ledger activities, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations. Lead a team of six accountants while conducting monthly variance analysis and supporting internal and external audits. Provide financial analysis on productivity, payer mix, and branch performance to drive operational decision-making. Travel up to 25% annually and manage duties in a hybrid or remote environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 5+ years' experience in accounting
- 2+ years in supervisory position
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Strong knowledge of Excel
- Strong knowledge of healthcare billing / reimbursement
- Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise accounting staff
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with clinical and operations leaders
- Ability to manage in a Hybrid/Remote environment
- Travel required up to 25% a year
