Job Summary
Accounting Manager to oversee all accounting department functions at Barksdale Federal Credit Union. Responsibilities include directing financial reporting, data reconciliation, preparing entries and adjustments, and developing specialized financial data. Provides management with decision-support information. Supervises, schedules, trains, and develops the Accounting Supervisor and Staff Accountants (hiring, discipline, termination) and serves as back-up to the Vice President of Accounting. Must have a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of supervisory accounting experience; strong technical knowledge of accounting concepts, practices, procedures, and related regulations. Must pass background check, drug screen, and online skill assessment as part of the hiring process.
