Job Summary
Lead daily operational activities and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting for the Accounting to Reporting function. Manage team coaching and support through month-end close cycles, while maintaining data integrity and driving process improvements. Partner with stakeholders to provide financial insights, resolve blockers, and address performance gaps directly. This hands-on role requires German language skills and experience in accounting to reporting within a logistics environment. Full-time onsite hours Monday to Friday, with potential extensions during month-end reporting periods.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Accounting to Reporting, general accounting, financial reporting or a similar finance operations environment
- Previous people leadership experience, ideally around 2 years or more
- Strong general accounting knowledge, including month-end close and reporting activities
- Understanding of local GAAP and IFRS
- Confidence communicating in both German and English with internal and external stakeholders
- SAP/S4HANA experience
- German language skills
- Dutch GAAP knowledge
- Experience in a logistics, shared services, BPO, global business services or fast-paced operational environment

Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of German or Dutch GAAP would be an advantage
- Experience in a logistics, shared services, BPO, global business services or fast-paced operational environment would be highly beneficial
