Job Summary
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting; manage the integrity of the general ledger, chart of accounts, cost center structures, and related financial data; ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SOX requirements, and internal control standards; oversee journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet governance activities; partner with Financial Reporting, FP&A, Finance Technology, and business leaders to support reporting and operational objectives; support SEC filings, regulatory reporting, consolidation activities, and audit readiness efforts; develop, coach, and mentor a team of accounting professionals to drive performance and accountability; drive automation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives across accounting and close processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 4+ years of accounting and/or finance experience
- 3+ years of experience within the financial services industry
- 1+ years of leadership experience
- 1+ years of experience with SOX controls
- Preferred: 1+ years of experience owning month-end close and general ledger processes
- Preferred: 3+ years of public accounting experience
- Preferred: 1+ years of experience using Workday ERP
