Accounting Manager (Accounts Payable)

Direct and organize day-to-day activities of the Accounts Payable team, establishing service levels, maintaining controls, and managing risk per bank policies. Oversee Specialists for timely invoice processing, payment generation, expense payment, and general ledger activity, while reviewing requests for authorization and correcting account numbers, cost centers, taxes, and discounts. Cultivate department relationships to identify, develop, and recommend revisions of internal standards, policies, and operating procedures to improve efficiencies and ensure proper cross-training. Assist in hiring, onboarding new entities for acquisitions, and completing the 1099 process, while creating and maintaining desk-top procedures for AP functions. Research and resolve accounting issues involving teammate and vendor payments, and assist with internal and external audit requests. Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations, including the Client's BSA/AML Policy and Procedures.
