Accounting Manager (A/E Industry)

Job Summary
Accounting Manager in the A/E industry leading GL, AP/AR, payroll, and monthly close; responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and revenue/backlog analysis; oversees cash flow, vendor payments, and banking relationships; ensures Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint data integrity; strengthens internal controls and financial workflows; manages and develops accounting staff; based in Palo Alto with a hybrid schedule (four days on-site). Requires 6–10+ years of accounting experience in architecture/engineering, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, and CPA preferred. Will partner with executive leadership on financial performance and forward planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 6–10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience supervising, mentoring, or leading accounting staff
- Experience within an architecture or engineering firm
- Strong proficiency in Deltek Vision and/or Vantagepoint
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
